Course Goal: To acquire the basic knowledge, skills and attitude
for owning, storing, and using a pistol safely
Length of Course: 6-8 hours over a 2 day period
Student Text: The Basics of Pistol Shooting (included in the Course
packet)
Course Lessons:
Lesson 1: Pistol Safety, Pistol Parts and Operation, Safe Gun Handling
Lesson 2: Ammunition Knowledge and Pistol Fundamentals
Lesson 3: Practical Firearm Operational Exercises
Lesson 4: Range Safety and Commands
Lesson 5: Shooting Clinic
BONUS: Until January 1st, Concealed Handgun Fundamentals are
added at no extra cost (a value of $20.00)
Cost: $35.00 (Veteran Discounts available).
